Fwd: Town Hall questions

Magnolia/QA District Council members,

I have an update on the Mayor's Town Hall - this one will be focused on Magnolia/Interbay.  The Mayor wants to do a Queen Anne town hall later in the year.  As I mentioned on Monday night at the district council meeting, I need to prepare briefing documents with a list of questions  for the Mayor.  Please send me your questions by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday 2/18/11.

Thank you!

Fwd: Mayor's Town Hall on March 1st

Greetings,
I am writing to let you know that a Mayor's Town Hall for Queen Anne and Magnolia residents is scheduled for March 1st.  The location is Catharine Blaine Elementary School cafeteria in Magnolia and the event will take place from 5:30-8:00p.m.

Your community organization is invited to have an information table at this event.  Come and engage with your neighbors, spread the word about the good work your group is doing, and recruit new members.  Magnolia Community Club is the first to sign up, who is next?!  Please RSVP to me by February 15th – space is limited.

I hope you'll spread the word to your organization's membership about this event and encourage them to attend.  It's a good opportunity to ask the Mayor any question you would like and there will be also be City Departments (i.e. Parks, SDOT) staffing tables.

Schedule for the event
5:30-6:30p.m. Information tables staffed by community groups and City departments
6:30-6:40p.m. Entertainment
6:45-8:00p.m. Q&A with Mayor Mike McGinn

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you,
